Become an expert Hands-Off Bodyworker! This course will teach you the foundation of MELTing, including the Four R’s of MELT: Reconnect, Rebalance, Rehydrate, and Release, and will help you integrate the techniques so that you can eliminate stuck stress, reduce inflammation, and create lasting change in your body. We’ll study, breakdown, and finally master the basics of MELT as outlined in the new book The MELT Method by Sue Hitzmann, and create a personal MELT Map for your specific needs. At the end of this series, you will have the knowledge and skills to reverse the many consequences of chronic stress and live pain free for life.

The MELT Method is a self-treatment technique that balances the nervous system and hydrates connective tissue, creating faster communication between the Body and Brain, and more extensibility and integrity in the connective tissue. Becoming Whole Wellness believes in this system because it is very similar to our approach with myofascial massage.

The MELT Method is a simple self-treatment method that eliminates chronic pain, improves performance, and decreases the “stuck stress” caused by the repetitive postures and movements of everyday living. MELT was created by New York City manual therapist Sue Hitzmann.

The MELT Method is an easy way for you to support the body’s own healing process. Do you ever wake up in the morning with mild stiffness that goes away once you get moving? Do you ever wake up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, or have trouble sleeping or staying asleep? Do you have digestive issues? These are all pre-pain signals that indicate you have stuck stress in your body and your nervous system is out of balance. The MELT Method can turn that around for you in just 10 minutes a day, 3 times a week. You will feel immediate effects of the re-balancing techniques.
